About Me!
Meet Connor Burns!
Hailing from Lakewood, Colorado, Connor fell in love with performing early in his k-12 years, and it’s been his devoted passion since. This passion led him to leave the mountains of CO and study Classical voice and Musical Theatre at NYU Steinhardt’s program in Vocal Performance.
At NYU, he’s been given myriad opportunities to expand his artistry and define himself as a performer, from studying vocal technique under Christopher Preston Thompson, training in conducting/music direction under Broadway’s Ted Sperling, and singing in vocal jazz ensembles led by Lauren Kinhan of New York Voices and Janis Siegel of the Manhattan Transfer.
A 2025 graduate, Connor is the inaugural recipient of the Frank Schiro Memorial award in Vocal Performance, in recognition of excellence in performance, academics, and as a community member.
Connor’s notable extracurricular performance credits include young artist contracts with The Ohio Light Opera for their 2024 and upcoming 2025 seasons. He’s also served as a rehearsal cover for the MasterVoices series at Carnegie Hall.
As he heads into post-grad life, Connor looks forward to diving headfirst into building his career as an actor and musician. In his free time, Connor can be found exploring the wilderness, training at the gym, and expanding his titanic Spotify library.
